Having left Eagle rather precipitately after the resignation of Frank Hampson, Keith found a job on a rival comic, Lion. Its space hero was Captain Condor, although this strip never had the care and attention that had been lavished on Dan Dare. But he, working by himself, and in black and white, Keith does some excellent artwork. Now, if it hadn't been for the eyebrows, who would you have thought this was?
This is from the first Captain Condor story that Keith drew - all about plants that grew wildly as a result of radiation from an orbiting satellite, and the giant insects that are produced by feeding on the plants. Does this story line remind you of something??

But the line work is excellent!

And this shows you how well Keith drew technical subjects.

And this too is impressive.
I am very grateful to the gentleman who sent me a series of Lions as a gift, so that I could produce this page - very many thanks. The snag is that I have lost your name, so if you read this then please mail me again so I can give you credit!
