FEARS FOR MISSING SPACE MISSION INCREASE

CREW PROFILES
Captain 'Flamer' Spry

'Flamer' Spry had his first encounter with the Mekon when only a cadet.

Subsequently, he was part of the out-system expedition to the planet Los, and so was not imprsinoned during the Occupation.

On his return from Los, he was among those instrumental in the overthrow of the Mekon.

Since then, he has risen rapidly through the ranks of SpaceFleet. His command of ARGO is a reflection of the confidence shown in him by the senior command of SF.

It is several days now since radio contact was lost with the PLUTO mission.

Fears are growing for the safety of the four crew: Captain 'Flamer' Spry, Professor Jocelyn Peabody,Leiutenant Hugo Guest and Treen scientist Thandar.

It is possible that the problem could be as simple as a communications malfunction, however.

There are no reports of explosions or debris along ARGO's flight path, and such radar traces as have been obtained give no cause for alarm.

No one at either Government Headquarters or SFHQ was available for comment.
